Cartier Tank: Early in the novel a character named Revson notices a shiny Cartier Tank on a woman's wrist and asks whether it is new; hundreds of pages later Roy Grace hears the same identification in an interview and asks what a watch like that would cost. The verified passages describe the watch and the questions around it but do not name the wearer, so the row records the watch without a character. The stolen Patek Philippe pocket watch that drives the plot is a separate object and is not yet cataloged.
