Heritage Auctions, selling the watch worn on-screen, describes an "original Swiss Army brand wristwatch with water resistant steel casing and black leather and web wristband," worn throughout The Rock by Ed Harris's General Francis X. Hummel and visible in the film's promotional media. No model or reference is given; Victorinox's US licensee Forschner, renamed Swiss Army Brands, Inc. in the mid-1990s, marketed the company's watches under the trademarked "Swiss Army" name throughout the decade, matching the branding on this example.
