Stephen Hunter's seventh Bob Lee Swagger novel starts with Marine sniper Ray Cruz ambushed in Afghanistan by a team of private contractors led by the hulking Mick Bogier, then brings Swagger in to find Cruz before they do. Hunter puts the same Finnish maker on two of the hunters. (Open Library)
