Jo Nesbø's sixth Harry Hole novel, published in Norwegian as Frelseren in 2005 and in Don Bartlett's English translation in 2009, follows a Croatian hitman through a snowbound Oslo Christmas and a Salvation Army shooting. Its last pages turn on a wristwatch. (Wikipedia)

- A watchmaker tells Harry that the watch he wears, a farewell present from his former boss Bjarne Møller and branded as a Rolex, is in fact a Lange 1 Tourbillon, one of a hundred and fifty made and priced near three million kroner at its last auction. Harry confronts Møller with the watch in the closing chapter. The novel names the model but not the metal or reference.
