Credor is Seiko's top dress-watch line, created in 1974 when Seiko grouped its precious-metal "special selection" watches under a name taken from the French crête d'or, "golden peak"; the brand's own chronology adds the crest mark of 1980, the Entrata series of 1987 and the 1993 model carrying the ultra-thin mechanical calibre 6870, the line's hand-wound dress movement.
