Credor (unidentified model)
More actions
Credor is Seiko's top dress line, and since 1993 its mechanical core has been the hand-wound 68 series: Daini Seikosha's 1.98 mm calibre 6800 of 1969 returned as the 6810 for Seiko's 110th anniversary in 1992 and became a regular Credor movement a year later; the two-hand 6890 keeps that thickness, the 6898 adds small seconds and the 6850 a tourbillon, all hand-assembled at Morioka Seiko Instruments' Shizukuishi workshop. (Hodinkee Japan; Seiko) The watch drawn in Hyakuman-en Goe no Kokyu Tokei o Kau Otoko tte Baka na no? (2014) is named only as a Credor on the 68 series, a plain two-hand dial on a strap with no reference stated, so this page covers the brand rather than one model.
