Eterna is a Swiss watchmaker founded in Grenchen in 1856, historically notable for patenting the ball-bearing rotor mechanism still used across the industry's automatic movements. Its best-known line, the Kontiki, launched in 1958 to commemorate the Kon-Tiki raft expedition and remains the brand's signature diver.
