Nomos Glashütte is an independent German watchmaker founded in the Saxon watch town of Glashütte in 1990 by Roland Schwertner. Its spare, typographic designs begin with the Tangente, the round watch with angular lugs that the firm calls almost a logo for the brand, and it builds its own calibres, down to an in-house escapement it names the swing system.
