The Nomos Tangente is the watch its Glashütte maker calls almost a logo for the brand: a round case set between angular lugs, a white silver-plated dial with slim Arabic numerals in a typeface that recalls the Bauhaus, tempered blue hands and a small seconds dial at six. Nomos describes it as its first watch and a continuous bestseller for more than 30 years, now made from 33 to 41 mm with hand-wound and automatic calibres.
