Tiffany & Co. has sold watches from its Fifth Avenue store since long before it made any: the New York jeweller, founded in 1837, spent more than a century retailing Swiss watches under a co-signed dial, a Patek Philippe or Audemars Piguet carrying the Tiffany name beneath the maker's.
