The Tiffany & Co. East West is the rectangular watch that marked the New York jeweller's return to watchmaking in 2015, its case and dial rotated a quarter turn so the numerals run along the wrist, a form Tiffany took from a folding travel watch of 1940. The first year's quartz models showed hours and minutes only; in 2016 the East West Automatic arrived in a subtly enlarged 46.5 x 27.5 mm case in steel or 18k pink gold, its white or blue sunray guilloché dial gaining a seconds hand from a Swiss self-winding calibre (the TCO 2558, built on the Sellita SW1000) with a 40-hour reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour, seen through a half-round caseback window.
