À mort l'arbitre (released internationally as Kill the Referee) is Jean-Pierre Mocky's 1984 thriller, based on Alfred Draper's novel The Death Penalty. Eddy Mitchell plays Maurice Bruno, a football referee hunted by a mob of hooligans, led by Rico (Michel Serrault), after he whistles a penalty against their team.
