はじまりの日 (Hajimari no Hi, "The Day It Begins") is a 2024 Japanese music-fantasy film written and directed by Yuichi Hibi, marking the acting debut of former JAYWALK vocalist Koichi Nakamura in the lead role. Nakamura plays a former rock star who sealed away his music after a past incident and now works quietly for a cleaning company in Nagoya, until he is moved by the singing voice of a neighbor and coworker (musical singer-songwriter Haruka) practicing alone in a park. Convinced of her talent, he seeks out his old colleague, music producer Yabuki, played by Naoto Takenaka, to hear her sing, though Yabuki initially turns him away.
