Akira and Akira (アキラとあきら) is a Japanese film directed by Takahiro Miki from Jun Ikeido's banking novel, released by Toho on 26 August 2022. Ryoma Takeuchi plays Akira Yamazaki, whose father's factory went under when he was a child, and Ryusei Yokohama plays Akira Kaido, heir to a large family company; the two join the same bank as rivals. Yosuke Eguchi plays Koji Fudo, the Ueno branch deputy manager who rises to head the head-office sales division. The novel was first adapted as a 2017 WOWOW series. Worn by Yosuke Eguchi as Koji Fudo. Housekihiroba, the Shibuya dealer that lent the watch, announced before the August 2022 release that Yosuke Eguchi would wear an Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph it lists as 4841-3132: a 42 mm steel three-register chronograph with a silver dial and a date at six, on a black leather strap. By the dealer's listing the piece on its loan card was first sold in Japan in August 2003.
