Angry Squad (アングリースクワッド 公務員と7人の詐欺師, "Angry Squad: The Civil Servant and the Seven Swindlers") is a 2024 Japanese heist comedy directed by Shinichiro Ueda, adapting the Korean series Squad 38. Seiyo Uchino plays Jiro Kumazawa, an earnest tax official swindled out of a large sum by con artist Makoto Himuro (Masaki Okada); the pair team up with a crew of fraudsters to extract a billion yen in unpaid taxes from a tax-evading tycoon. Yukiyoshi Ozawa plays Tachibana, and Miki Maya plays Ruriko Igarashi. Toei released the film in Japan on 22 November 2024. (TMDB)
