August: Osage County

A look at the lives of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, whose paths have diverged until a family crisis brings them back to the Oklahoma house they grew up in, and to the dysfunctional woman who raised them. (IMDb)

Watches

Coleman 40-007
Worn by Ewan McGregor as Bill Fordham. A photograph of the screen-used watch shows a black dial, luminous hands and braided leather strap; its caseback is marked "40-007," supporting the Coleman model identification. (Watch-ID) The walking scene exposes Bill's round bright case, dark dial and textured strap below his rolled shirt sleeve beside Barbara. The frame supports those exterior details, but the “40-007” inscription comes from the separate photograph of the screen-used watch's caseback, not from this on-screen view. (scene image)
Timex Expedition
Worn by Will Coffey as Sheriff Deon Gilbeau. Premiere Props offered the watch on 22 March 2014 (lot 246) as "Sheriff Deon Gilbeau (Will Coffey) screen used, hero, 'Timex Expedition' wristwatch and nametag". The lot photograph shows a digital watch with a marked round bezel on a brown leather and nylon strap, beside a brass nametag engraved GILBEAU. The catalogue names the line and no reference. Gilbeau is the county sheriff who brings the Westons the news about Beverly, and Barbara's old high-school boyfriend. (Premiere Props lot 246)

Rolex Datejust
Worn by Chris Cooper as Charlie Aiken. Real-adjacent: a costume copy, not a Rolex. Premiere Props sold it on 9 December 2017 (lot 409) as "Charlie Aiken (Chris Cooper) screen used, hero, faux Rolex watch, metal twist pen, and plastic comb". Probable identification. The lot photograph shows what the copy imitates: a two-tone watch with a fluted gold-tone bezel, a pale dial with stone hour markers under a crown emblem, a date window with a magnifier and a two-tone five-link bracelet, the pattern of a steel-and-gold Datejust. The catalogue names no model. Montres de Luxe reads the watch on screen as a two-tone Rolex Datejust; the prop house, selling the piece itself, records it as a fake.
