Worn by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Stark opens the film wearing the belt-driven Tread 1F: four glass-reinforced nylon belts shuttling numerals past a window in place of hands, a wireless-charging electro-mechanical machine from the only American maker running its own movement architecture. Devon Works confirmed the placement before release, and founder Scott Devon later said it was "very nerve-wracking not knowing if the watch made the final edits, but Robert Downey Jr. was true to his word and made it happen."
