Robert Zemeckis's science-fiction Western closes the trilogy begun with Back to the Future; it was filmed back to back with Part II and released by Universal Pictures on 25 May 1990. Stranded in 1955, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) learns that Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) is trapped in 1885 and about to be killed by Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen (Thomas F. Wilson), and takes the DeLorean back to fetch him, a rescue complicated when Doc falls for Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen). It grossed $245 million worldwide. (IMDb) (Wikipedia)

Casio CA-53W-1

Worn by Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly. Teddy Baldassarre's survey of screen watches, after naming the CA-50 on Marty in the first film, writes that its successor, "the similarly designed but more water-resistant CA-53W, is the watch worn in the two sequels". It names no scene and gives no suffix; the CA-53W-1 is the standard black execution, the watch Marty also wears in Part II. Most of this film is set in 1885, and the survey does not say in which of its periods the Casio is seen. (Teddy Baldassarre)
