Cobweb

Kim Jee-woon directed this South Korean black comedy-drama (Korean: 거미집), set in the film industry of 1970s South Korea. Director Kim Yeol (Song Kang-ho), whose acclaimed debut has given way to critically dismissed melodramas, becomes convinced after a vivid dream that reshooting the ending of his just-completed film Cobweb will turn it into a masterpiece. Defying a script rejected by state censors, a dismantled set, and a cast and crew who have already moved on, he mounts an unauthorized reshoot bankrolled by Mi-do (Jeon Yeo-been), the production company heir who is drawn to the new ending's strangeness, while the shoot collapses into escalating chaos.
