DNA (2020)

Released in France as ADN, Maïwenn's autobiographically inflected drama follows Neige (played by Maïwenn herself), a divorced mother of three, through the identity crisis triggered by her beloved Algerian grandfather's death, as she and her fractious extended family confront the pull of heritage and a DNA test that upends what she thought she knew about her ancestry. Marine Vacth plays Lilah, Neige's sister, in an ensemble that also includes Louis Garrel, Fanny Ardant, and Dylan Robert. The film premiered at the 2020 Deauville American Film Festival. (IMDb)
