Dasavathaaram

K.S. Ravikumar's Tamil-language epic thriller, in which Kamal Haasan plays ten distinct characters spanning eight centuries, from a 12th-century Vaishnavite monk to a present-day Telugu police officer, an American scientist, and a Sikh cab driver. A statue of Vishnu thrown into the sea in the 12th century resurfaces in the framework of a modern bioterror plot, as CIA operatives, a corrupt scientist, and Inspector Balram Naidu converge on a lethal virus loosed in Tamil Nadu.
