Donnie wears a round black Casio CGW-50 Cosmo Phase, a late-1980s digital watch whose Solar System mode plots the nine planets and Halley's Comet across a 1901–2200 window: a planetarium on the wrist, and a pointed choice for a film built on time loops and predetermined events. The 1989 CGW-50 is essentially contemporaneous with the film's 1988 setting; the sofa frame shows a round black digital Casio consistent with it, though the solar-system display itself is not legible on screen.
