Cameron Crowe's romantic comedy-drama for Paramount Pictures. Drew Baylor, a young shoe designer whose new sneaker has cost his employer a catastrophic sum, is fired and is preparing to end his life when word arrives that his father has died; sent to Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to arrange the funeral and bring the body home, he falls in with a flight attendant whose company reshapes the whole trip.
