Tim Story's superhero origin story for 20th Century Fox. A research mission to study a cosmic storm bathes scientist Reed Richards, his ex-girlfriend Sue Storm, her hot-headed brother Johnny, and pilot Ben Grimm in radiation that rewrites their bodies, forcing the newly minted Fantastic Four to master their powers and stop the mission's fifth passenger, Victor Von Doom, from turning his own transformation into a weapon.
