Eiji Uchida, director of Midnight Swan and Lowlife Love, writes and directs this original human-suspense drama about assistant director Nojima (Yukiya Kitamura), whose next job is adapting the memoir of ARISA (Wan Marui), a young woman whose story of overcoming poverty as a child carer made her famous. As Nojima digs into the production, he uncovers doubts about whether her celebrated story is true, and finds his own family and career unraveling as everyone around him, cast, producer, crew, pressures him to keep the cameras rolling regardless of what he finds.
