Handyman (2006)

From IMWDb
Handyman

Jürg Ebe's German-language Swiss romantic comedy for Turnus Film AG, one of the twenty most-attended Swiss cinema releases of its era. Dumped after his girlfriend turns up pregnant by an ex, Zurich record-company employee Mike Dürst calls in to a Berlin psychologist's radio advice show; the psychologist, Gregor Frank, offers to engineer Mike's perfect match within five days if Mike will serve as the case study for his self-help book, unaware that the pilot Mike falls for is Gregor's own girlfriend. Marco Rima stars as Mike Dürst alongside Oliver Korittke as Gregor Frank and Regula Grauwiller as Christina Berger. (IMDb)

Watches

Hamilton Jazzmaster
Worn by Marco Rima as Mike Dürst. The Jazzmaster is Hamilton's core line of round dress watches, running from the time-only Viewmatic through open-heart Maestros, chronographs, and GMTs on ETA-derived automatics. Hamilton's list calls this one a "Jazzmaster Chrono Auto" and gives no reference. The H32616533 that carries the Jazzmaster Auto Chrono name today was introduced in 2008, two years after the film, so the credit belongs to an earlier chronograph in the line that no reference number reaches. Hamilton Khaki X-Wind
Worn by Regula Grauwiller as Christina Berger. The Khaki X-Wind is built around a crown-operated drift-angle calculator, a bezel system that works out how a crosswind will push an aircraft off its heading; Hamilton introduced the line in 2005, the year before the film. Berger flies for a living, so the calculation answers her job rather than just her wardrobe. No reference is given. (Hamilton)
