Hamilton Carlisle

Worn by Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson. Hamilton made the Carlisle for only two years, 1937 and 1938: a curved, elongated 14-karat gold-filled case, the 17-jewel caliber 980, and a small seconds register set low on the dial. A 1993 quartz "registered edition" revived the design, and it is the likelier candidate for a 1996 production, but the credit names no generation. Breitling Airwolf

Worn by Will Smith as Capt. Steven Hiller. Montres de Luxe identifies Hiller's watch as a Breitling Airwolf, but that identification is anachronistic: Breitling did not introduce the Airwolf name until 2006, a decade after the film's release. A period-correct identification would instead be an analog-digital Breitling from the earlier Aerospace or Chronospace lineage, and no source narrows it further. (Montres de Luxe)
