Casio G-Shock DW-5600C-1V

Worn by Jake Gyllenhaal as Anthony Swofford. Swofford wears a square black Casio G-Shock through the deployment, most clearly while reading atop a vehicle in the desert. Spotting records name the DW-5600C-1V, the bulb-lit 1987 execution of the original square case, which was in production through the mid-1990s and so is period-correct for a Marine deploying in 1990. The frame resolves the square case and reverse display but not the sub-reference, so the C-versus-E distinction rests on the spotting sources rather than the image. (WatchReel)
