Ian Malcolm wears a Rolex Milgauss customized by MAD Paris, the aftermarket house that strips and DLC-coats donor watches, here rendering the anti-magnetic Milgauss, with its lightning-bolt seconds hand, in matte black. It is a modified real Rolex rather than a catalog reference, and no factory placement is implied; the base watch is the Milgauss. Wrist Enthusiast first left Grant's watch out of its survey of the franchise, its author having "thought maybe it was a Hamilton or some other field watch", and added it on 22 June 2022 after RedBar founder Adam Craniotes "was quick to point out to me that Grant was wearing a Bremont MBII with white dial in the film". The identification is Craniotes's, relayed by the article, which gives no barrel colour or scene and wonders "whether this watch is from Neill's personal collection". (Wrist Enthusiast)
