Rolex Daytona

Worn by Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo. Beatrix consults a steel chronograph styled after Rolex's Daytona to time a home pregnancy test in a motel bathroom. Community analysis converges that the prop is not a genuine Daytona: the Quentin Tarantino Archives' own trivia wiki states plainly that "this watch is a replica of a Rolex Daytona," adding that "you can tell it's not a genuine one because the markings on the face don't match an original's." The film-goof database Slip Ups separately flags a visibly ticking second hand, contrasting it with the sweep of a mechanical Rolex. A genuine Daytona's chronograph seconds hand can also appear to tick while running, so this detail alone is inconclusive. The dial-marking mismatch is the more consistently cited discrepancy. No source resolves which specific counterfeit or homage design supplied the prop, and an exact reference remains uncertain.
