L'Appartement, written and directed by Gilles Mimouni, was released in France in 1996. Vincent Cassel plays Max, a reformed playboy about to marry his fiancée Muriel when he glimpses Lisa, the great lost love of his life, played by Monica Bellucci, and becomes consumed with tracking her down.
