Luck-Key (2016)

From IMWDb
Luck-Key

Lee Gye-byeok directs this South Korean action comedy (Korean: 럭키), a remake of the 2012 Japanese film Key of Life. Professional hitman Choi Hyung-wook (Yoo Hae-jin) slips and hits his head at a public bathhouse; the down-on-his-luck actor who finds him, Yoon Jae-sung (Lee Joon), swaps their locker keys and wakes up living the assassin's life while the amnesiac Hyung-wook is mistaken for Jae-sung. The film sold more than 6 million tickets domestically. (IMDb; Wikipedia)

Watches

Bvlgari Octo
Worn by Yoo Hae-jin as Choi Hyung-wook. Three independent Timeforum posts converge on this identification. Torino's own 2016 Q4 "매체속의 시계들" roundup names only the brand, calling Bvlgari's placement blatant: "럭키에는 대놓고 불가리가 협찬한 기색이." A separate Timeforum poster's roundup names the actor and model directly: "킬러(?)로 나오는 유해진씨가 착용한 불가리 옥토입니다. 초반에 살인(?) 후 피가 묻은걸 살피는 장면이네요" (the killer Yoo Hae-jin's Bvlgari Octo, seen checking for blood after the opening killing). Torino's own July 2018 installment separately compares the watch to the Breitling B-1 worn in the film's Japanese original, Key of Life: "우리나라에서는 불가리 아씨오마였는데 원작에서는 브라이틀링 B-1이였구요" (in our country it was the Bvlgari Octo; the original had a Breitling B-1). No reference is stated in any of the three. (Timeforum; Timeforum; Timeforum)
