The Minions are the small yellow henchmen of Illumination's Despicable Me franchise, created by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud with designer Eric Guillon and voiced largely by Coffin, who first appeared serving the supervillain Gru in Despicable Me (Universal Pictures, 2010). Their popularity carried them into two spin-off films of their own, Minions (2015) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022), the sequels through Despicable Me 4, and a global licensing business for Universal. Casio China released this ¥1,190 white digital BABY-G in August 2021 alongside the BA-110MON21-7APRM, its display framed in pixel bananas with "BANANAS" on the upper band and a pixel loading bar on the lower band, with the same engraved case back and sound-and-light Minion box.
