Watches

Casio G-Shock DW6900-1V
Worn by Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. Hunt's watch through the Sydney mission is the all-black resin DW-6900-1V, the three-eye G-Shock, with its display dressed by the prop department: the readout carries tracking graphics the production watch cannot generate, while the case, subdials and matte resin body are stock. Those three circular indicators are why the model keeps turning up in thrillers: on screen they read as something already counting down. It is the second Casio in two films for a character who treats a watch as equipment rather than a signal. (Twenty Two Ten; Iconic Hours)
