TAG Heuer Kirium WL1113.BA0701
Worn by Brad Pitt as Billy Beane. One of Hollywood's better-documented accidental placements. On the first day of shooting in July 2010 the property master offered Pitt three watches, and he chose the Kirium borrowed that morning from a crew member's wrist; TAG Heuer historian Jeff Stein identified it as the Kirium WL1113 (midnight-blue dial, unidirectional bezel, 200 m, integrated bracelet) and sourced three backup examples at roughly $400–500 each for continuity. No placement deal and no brand involvement, yet a late-1990s quartz professional-series TAG is period-plausible for Beane's 2002 season and reads exactly as the film needs: taste without extravagance. Rolex Daytona 116520
Worn by Jonah Hill as Peter Brand. Brand's steel Daytona (white dial with dark subdial rings, visible in the office and scouting-room scenes) is an unexpected watch for a junior stats economist, and spotting coverage identifies it as the 116520, the first Daytona generation with Rolex's in-house calibre 4130, in the catalog from 2000 and so current for the 2002 season. Watch press covering Hill's collecting reports the 116520 as the actor's own watch, worn during filming rather than sourced by the production. (Watch Chest; Time+Tide; watchreel)
