Worn by Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton. Dalton wears the Classic in 18K yellow gold: hand-wound, a flat white dial, gilded markers, and nothing else on it. It is a quietly expensive watch on a man whose career is sliding, which is the argument his whole wardrobe keeps making, the trappings of a leading man outlasting the leading roles. Nothing published resolves which of the line's references it is, and the men's and women's series share the design across two case sizes. Montres de Luxe independently identifies the same 40 mm yellow-gold Classic on DiCaprio and calls it a total anachronism, since no reference of that size existed in 1969, the year the film is set.
