Jean-Marie Poiré's spy comedy, the film that first paired Jean Reno and Christian Clavier ahead of their run in Les Visiteurs. Reno plays Captain Philippe Boulier, a legendary DGSE agent nicknamed "Le Squale" (the Shark), tasked with dismantling an international arms-trafficking ring and unmasking a traitor at the top of the French state; to do it, he manipulates an ordinary corporate psychologist, Jean-Jacques Granianski, into an unwitting partnership.
