Álex de la Iglesia's borderlands thriller, adapted from Barry Gifford's novel. A woman and a self-styled Santeria priest meet in the Mexican borderlands and embark on a spree of robbery, kidnapping and ritual violence, dragging two abducted American teenagers north with them. Rosie Perez plays Perdita Durango against Javier Bardem as Romeo Dolorosa, with James Gandolfini as the DEA agent on their trail and Don Stroud as Santos.
