Red Snow (赤い雪) is a 2019 Japanese mystery film written and directed by Sayaka Kai, released theatrically on 1 February 2019 through Ark Entertainment. One snowbound day, a young boy vanishes without a trace; his older brother Kazuki Shirakawa (Masatoshi Nagase), convinced he let his sibling out of sight, carries the guilt for decades. The woman suspected of the boy's kidnapping becomes tied to a string of unexplained killings before the truth disappears into obscurity. Thirty years on, journalist Shogo Kodachi (Arata Iura) reopens the case and tracks down Sayuri Eto (Nana), the suspected woman's daughter, setting the fates of the "victim's brother" and the "suspect's daughter" on a collision course.
