From IMWDb
Silmido

Silmido (실미도) is a 2003 South Korean film directed by Kang Woo-suk about Unit 684, the squad of condemned men trained on a Yellow Sea island from 1968 to assassinate Kim Il-sung and abandoned when policy changed. Sul Kyung-gu plays the recruit Kang In-chan, Ahn Sung-ki the unit's commander and Huh Joon-ho its training sergeant. It was the first Korean film to pass ten million admissions. (Wikipedia)

Watches

Luminox Navy SEAL
Worn by Ahn Sung-ki as Jae-hyun. Sports Hankook's watch column of 7 November 2016, a survey of Luminox on screen, identifies the watch the unit's commander checks while drilling his recruits as a Luminox Navy SEAL. The insert frame printed with the column settles the model: the dial reads NAVY SEALS and 200 METERS under the Luminox shield. The column gives no reference. Luminox was founded in 1989 and its Navy SEAL watches date from the 1990s, so the watch is an anachronism in a story set between 1968 and 1971; the columnist recalls that the film set off a run on Luminox at Korean online shops. Luminox Navy SEAL
Worn by Huh Joon-ho as Sergeant Jo. The same Sports Hankook column says that Huh Joon-ho also wears a Luminox in the film, in one sentence and without a frame of his watch; it names the brand for him, not the model, so the Navy SEAL reading for this second watch is by association with the commander's.
