Watches

Rolex Bubbleback

Worn by Anthony Hopkins. Montres de Luxe identifies Anthony's watch as a Rolex Bubble Back (gold, leather strap). (Montres de Luxe) Uhrforum members reached the same watch independently: a 2016 frame of Clancy's gold Oyster Perpetual with its small-seconds dial drew the reply that it is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback reference 3130, and a second member posted another frame in 2020 asking about the small seconds; the reference rests on that single reply. Tissot PRS 516

Worn by Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Agent Joe Merriwether. FBI agent Merriwether's steel chronograph on a leather strap was posted as a frame on Uhrforum in July 2018; a first guess of TAG Heuer found no match, and the answer identified a Tissot PRS 516 Chronograph, naming reference T044.614.21.051.00, worn without the perforated strap that reference ships on. The asker accepted the match; the reference is one member's reading of the frame. (Uhrforum; Uhrforum; Uhrforum)
