Stolen Identity (Japanese title Sumaho o Otoshita Dake Nanoni, literally "Just Because I Dropped My Smartphone") is a 2018 Japanese thriller directed by Hideo Nakata (Ringu) and written by Tetsuya Oishi, adapted from Kōji Shiga's novel. After her boyfriend Makoto Tomita (Kei Tanaka) loses his phone in a taxi, Asami Inaba (Keiko Kitagawa) finds herself stalked and impersonated online, while detective Manabu Kagaya (Yudai Chiba) investigates a string of murders targeting women with long black hair. The ensemble cast also includes Bakarizumu, Mary Jun Takahashi, Kenta Sakai, and Miwako Kakei. (TMDB)
