- Worn by Ed Harris as Virgil "Bud" Brigman. Bud dives in the cushion-cased "Turtle", still alive in today's Prospex line. Montres de Luxe independently identifies the watch as a Seiko Diver 6309. (Montres de Luxe) The corridor scene shows Bud reclining with the watch wrist extended in front of him. The broad metal case and dark strap remain exposed below his sleeve. This provides an on-wrist wearing view within the damaged rig, rather than a depth test or a shot establishing the exact 6309 dial variant. (scene image)
