Successful lawyer Paul Exben seems to have everything: a comfortable career, a wife and two children, and a partnership his ailing colleague Anne is about to hand him. When he discovers his wife's affair and accidentally kills her lover, he fakes his own death, steals the dead man's identity, and starts over in Montenegro pursuing the photography career he had abandoned. (Wikipedia) Directed by Éric Lartigau from Douglas Kennedy's novel of the same name, the film stars Romain Duris as Paul alongside Catherine Deneuve, Marina Foïs, and Niels Arestrup; EuropaCorp released it in France on 3 November 2010 as L'Homme qui voulait vivre sa vie.
Watches
- Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin
- Worn by Romain Duris as Paul Exben. Montres de Luxe identifies Paul's watch as a rose-gold Jaeger-LeCoultre "Master ultra-plate" (Master Ultra Thin), without naming a reference. Jaeger-LeCoultre had shown pink-gold Master Ultra Thin dress models since the line's April 2008 SIHH debut, so a piece from the range was on sale well before this film's 2010 release. - Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso
- Worn by Catherine Deneuve as Anne. Montres de Luxe credits Anne, Paul's ailing law partner, with a steel "Reverso dame" on a leather strap, naming no case size or reference that would narrow it to one of the line's small-cased women's executions.
