- Worn by Anthony Michael Hall as Brian Johnson. Brian, the academic of the group, wears a black resin Casio calculator watch, an on-the-nose choice for the kid who brings a calculator to detention. Watch-spotting communities usually name it the CA-53W (watchreel), but the resin CA-53W reached market later in the 1980s, after the film's 1984 production, so the on-screen watch is more plausibly an early-'80s sibling such as the CA-50; the model is not legible enough in frame to fix the reference.
