The Fisher King

Terry Gilliam's fantasy drama, from a screenplay by Richard LaGravenese. Jack Lucas, a cynical radio shock jock whose on-air taunt triggers a mass shooting, is saved from a beating by Parry, a homeless former professor unhinged by grief after the attack killed his wife. The two men's lives entangle as Jack tries to make amends. Jeff Bridges stars as Jack alongside Robin Williams as Parry, with Mercedes Ruehl and Amanda Plummer.
