Eighteen-year-old Bennett Brewer dies in a car crash on the night he loses his virginity to a classmate, Rose; when Rose turns up on his parents' doorstep pregnant with his child, grieving mother Grace and withdrawn father Allen are forced to confront both their loss and each other.
