The Majestic (2001)

From IMWDb
The Majestic

Frank Darabont's Capra-inflected drama for Warner Bros. Pictures. Blacklisted during the McCarthy era after being wrongly named a Communist sympathizer, a Hollywood screenwriter loses his memory in a car accident and is mistaken by a small California town for its long-missing World War II son, finding a new purpose helping restore the town's derelict movie palace, the Majestic. Jim Carrey stars as Peter Appleton alongside Hal Holbrook, Martin Landau, and Laurie Holden. (IMDb)

Hamilton Wilshire
Worn by Hal Holbrook as Congressman Doyle. The Wilshire is the swivel-lugged Art Deco rectangle Hamilton built between 1939 and 1947, offered in solid and rose gold across several dial treatments, and so period for a film set in 1951. The credit does not say which of those treatments Doyle wears. (Hamilton)
