The Out-of-Towners (1999)

From IMWDb
The Out-of-Towners

Sam Weisman's remake of the 1970 Jack Lemmon comedy, made for Paramount Pictures. A recently laid-off Ohio couple flies to Manhattan for the husband's job interview, and one disaster after another (lost luggage, a mugging, a hotel eviction) drags them through a single ruinous night that ends up saving their marriage. Steve Martin stars as Henry Clark opposite Goldie Hawn's Nancy Clark, with John Cleese as the hotel manager Mersault. (IMDb)

Watches

Hamilton Ardmore
Worn by Steve Martin as Henry Clark. Hamilton's own historical film-credit page lists this placement twice: as "Out of Towners (1999)" with Steve Martin in a Classic Line watch, and again as "The Out-of-Towners (1999)" with Steve Martin in an Ardmore, one of the individual shapes marketed under the Classic Line umbrella. Since the second entry names a specific shape within the broader line rather than a different watch, this page follows the more specific Ardmore identification; neither table entry gives a reference.
