Unknown, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from an adaptation of Didier van Cauwelaert's novel Out of My Head, was released by Warner Bros. Pictures in February 2011. Liam Neeson plays Dr. Martin Harris, a biotechnologist who wakes from a Berlin car crash to find his wife, played by January Jones, does not recognise him and another man is living his life. (Montres de Luxe) The timing supports the claim without settling it: Rolex introduced the 44 mm reference 116660 in 2008, so a February 2011 release is early but not implausibly so, and the source itself hedges. The watch is a quiet piece of characterisation in a film about a man who cannot prove who he is, since a 3,900-metre saturation diver on a biotechnologist attending a Berlin conference is exactly the kind of detail that would look wrong to anyone paying attention.
